Estimated Price: £4,000 - £6,000
- The original Jota was developed with the help of British Laverda importer Roger Slater. Starting with the 1,000cc Laverda triple, he persuaded the factory to build a more powerful road bike using performance parts inspired by racing
- By the early 1980s, Japanese superbikes were becoming smoother, faster and increasingly sophisticated. Laverda needed to modernise its big triple, so they introduced the much revised, Jota 120
- The 1982 120 model marked a major engineering pivot, shifting to a 120-degree crankpin phasing to deliver a far smoother engine layout while preserving the bike's iconic high-speed capability
- Only 400 to 500 units were ever built and they have become a highly coveted classic
- Originally supplied by Slaters in September 1982, this bike appears largely original and remains in good overall condition
- Described by our vendor as 'running and riding well' and is only being sold due to a leg injury which means he is now unable to ride this bike
- Supplied with a current V5C (correctly classed as Historic) along with a number of old MOTs, invoices and a Laverda owner's manual
- A great opportunity to purchase a smart, original example of this Italian legend
