- The 1989 Ducati 900SS (SuperSport) is a highly significant, transition-era motorcycle that marked the rebirth of Ducati's iconic air-cooled sportsbike lineage under Cagiva ownership
- Positioned as an 'interim' model produced for roughly just one year, it combined a modified version of the 904cc air-cooled 90° L-twin engine (sourced from the Ducati Paso) with a lightweight 750 Sport trellis chassis
- Powered by the 904cc four-stroke, 90-degree L-twin (V-twin), SOHC, Desmodromic two-valves per cylinder offering 84bhp at 7,000rpm
- This example was purchased new by our vendor in 1989 and he enjoyed the bike for two years before trading it in for another new bike. Fast forward to 2022 and he spotted it for sale and knew he had to acquire it again
