- Moto Guzzi Le Mans are among the great European sports motorcycles of the 1970s and 1980s, offering a rather different experience: a big longitudinal V-twin, shaft drive, a distinctive mechanical feel and an extraordinary endurance-racing heritage
- Launched in 1978 (to 1981), the Le Mans II added distinctive styling over the earlier model, with a larger fairing, rectangular headlight, Nigusil liners and air-assisted damping but remaining essentially the same bike underneath as the original Le Mans
- This fine example was purchased in Trepani, on the west coast of Sicily, by our vendor some six years ago, due to its originality and a low mileage of 24,245 kilometres (just over 15,000 miles). The Mediterranean climate has been kind to this 'Lemon' and it remains in excellent order throughout
- Supplied with a NOVA number, Italian export documents, the original Italian purchase invoice and a dating certificate from the Moto Guzzi Club GB, making registration a straightforward process for its new owner
- Our vendor has got the bike running but it has sat in his collection, which he is now reducing, and will require light recommissioning prior to returning to the road
- A great opportunity to acquire a superb original example of this popular Italian sports bike
