Step into the timeless allure of the 1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, a car that blends European flair with classic American convertible charm. Known for its sleek, flowing lines and approachable performance, this Karmann Ghia has undergone a restoration that brings its green metallic exterior back to life. The subtle quad polished-tipped dual exhaust hints at the soulful rumble underneath, while the tan convertible top invites open-air cruising. This is a car for those who appreciate style and history, wrapped in a package that demands attention wherever the road leads.
Inside, the cabin offers a straightforward yet inviting experience. Black vinyl bucket seats provide a comfortable place to grip the floor shift for the four-speed manual transmission, while the factory-style dashboard keeps everything in simple, classic view. An upgraded Kenwood CD player with Bluetooth and AUX inputs adds modern convenience without detracting from the vintage vibe. Original carpet and rear bench seat show character, maintaining that authentic, vintage feel.
Under the rear deck lid, the 1600 CC engine with a 2BR 4S21 casting delivers a gentle yet distinctive growl, amplified by the dual exhaust system that gives this Volkswagen a spirited voice. The four-speed manual transmission puts the driver in complete control, translating the engine's modest horsepower into an engaging and responsive ride. Front disc brakes combined with rear drums provide reliable stopping power, while the factory-style suspension preserves the car's classic handling traits, making each drive a pure connection to the road.
