There’s not another car company in the world quite like Morgan. Since 1910 the Worcestershire firm has been doing things its own way, in complete defiance of accepted business practice in the car industry and has developed a massive following in the process. The 4/4 has the longest production run of any vehicle in the world, over 80 years, and is instantly recognisable throughout all of its generations, very much in the same way as everyone can identify a Porsche 911 of any age.

Our 2010 Morgan 4/4 has the Ford 1.6 Sigma engine mated to a Mazda 5-speed gearbox. Judging by the registration number we suspect, but cannot guarantee, that this example was originally supplied by the Morgan Motor Company. Finished in Sports Blue with Yarwood Honey Leather, Walnut dashboard, Mota Lita steering wheel with Morgan centre boss, Leather Elasticated Door Pockets, Black Mohair Hood, 5x 15” Black Wire Wheels with Chrome Hub centres, Stainless Steel Chassis Covers with Morgan Logo, Stainless Steel Luggage Rack with the most beautiful Morgan suitcase made of leather and reputedly costing around £800.

An excellent all round package, the leather is unmarked, and apart from some slight bubbling on the nearside front wing edged, the paintwork is in great shape. Full of character and immense fun to drive, everyone should experience the joy of owning a Morgan. A design from the past, perhaps, but in these days when all cars blur into one, you will be the one at the traffic lights with a smile on your face.
