The MX5 Trilogy was a limited edition model for the UK and European markets that arrived late in 2002. It was marketed in collaboration with the De Beers diamond company. Trilogy’s name comes from traditional trilogy rings set with three diamonds said to represent the past, present, and the future.

The Trilogy MX5 was given a premium colour theme of Brilliant Black paintwork, luxury light grey Medici leather seats and highly polished 15” wheels and interior trim accents with ‘Trilogy’ branding on the headrests. A two tone Nardi steering wheel is fitted along with a matching leather handbrake handle gear knob and door panel trim. A unique numbered engraving denotes the issue number of the 333 built for the UK, this being number 46.

Our example has survived the last 24 years very well indeed, with the lovely low mileage of just 29,000 miles and just two, obviously, careful owners. The paintwork is in good order, as is the Italian leather interior. The extremely shiny wheels seem to be unmarked and shod with what look like new tyres.

This is an MX5 that stands out from all the others, something different and rare. It could be used every day or kept for high days and holidays, your choice.
