There’s something particularly appealing about finding an original-looking Mini that hasn’t covered huge mileage, and this 1989 Austin Mini Mayfair is a lovely example. Finished in beige with its original Mayfair graphics and grey interior, it has covered just 20,029 miles from new and presents in very nice overall condition.

More importantly, there’s plenty in the history file to back that mileage up. A comprehensive collection of previous MOT certificates has been retained alongside invoices and other paperwork, while the original service book contains an impressive 12 stamps. The accompanying book pack is equally nice to see, with the Austin Rover Mini handbook, service record, consumer guide and other period literature still with the Mini.

The Mayfair was always the slightly plusher side of the classic Mini range, and this one still has that wonderfully simple, period feel inside. The grey patterned seats and door cards remain in very presentable condition, while externally the beige paintwork, Mayfair decals and traditional Mini wheels keep everything looking just as it should.

With only a little over 20,000 miles recorded in 37 years, it’s clearly lived a rather different life to most Minis of this age. It comes with two keys and a long MOT until 7th September 2027, making this a particularly charming little Mayfair with the history and low mileage to make it stand out.
