Since 1994, Wald Japan have been a staple brand for the luxury car enthusiast; celebrities, entrepreneurs and sports figures alike can be seen on social media, television and seen on the streets in their Wald enhanced cars across the far east and America. They are still in very low numbers in the UK which makes this particular XJR won’t bump into an identical twin anytime soon.

What we have here is a genuinely nice 2003 XJR with low mileage for its 23 years, and it’s an example that has clearly been cared for. We understand from the vendor that the Wald body kit - including front bumper with vertical LED lights, side steps, rear bumper, rear spoiler, mirror covers, and Black Fender Panels - were all on the Jaguar from new when it was in Japan. Due to damage, the Wald wheels that it came to the UK with were replaced with 20-inch Black Takoba alloys in August 2024 which we think compliment it perfectly.

It came over to the UK in November 2020 at around 48,000 miles, and whilst the history in Japan is unknown, it has had three owners since then. The current owner purchased it in 2023 and has maintained it since including a service that was carried out on 2nd October. We have a detailed list of all work carried out since its arrival in the UK with some invoices to back up the work carried out. After having issues with the standard air-suspension, the current owner had adjustable coil-overs fitted to improve handling and these remain today. Should the next owner wish to revert back to the standard air-suspension, then we have instructions in the file on how this can be done.

The Black leather interior is complimented with wood trim and is in great condition. If we’re being ultra picky, the front spoiler is stone chipped, and you may or may not wish to have this painted but with the state of the UK roads it will probably chip again fairly soon.

We are confident that this very rare Wald Black Bison will stand up to any inspection, and we would highly recommend you see this very special supercharged XJR in the metal.
