First things first, this BMW E46 has no rust, really it’s true! We’ve spoken to the MOT tester and he confirms that when he had it on his ramp, it was as clean underneath as it is on top, and it is very clean on top. E46s are well known to have propensity for corroding; this example has been so well looked after and cherished that it has escaped this fate. Recently owned by a member of the BMW Car Club, who’s fastidious ownership and obvious enthusiasm are clear to see. Terrific condition inside and out, low mileage for a 22 year old BMW, comprehensive service file, presented in arguably the best colour of Imola Red with Anthracite Alcantara sports interior. There are even rubber mats covering the M Sport carpet mats and a tailored carpet in the boot area covering the original carpet, just lovely attention to detail. Under the bonnet is almost as new. However it’s not totally perfect, there are two wheels that have suffered a little kerb rash, it happens, but at least it’s a straightforward fix.

This is indeed a very special example that must be seen to be appreciated. Something you could easily use every day, or save for those weekend shows and exhibitions, it is most certainly a practical, modern day classic in every way, and one not to be missed.
