Cypress Green over Saddle leather is a colour combination that really takes the Continental GT back to its beginnings. It was this shade of green that Bentley chose to introduce the model to the world, and seeing it on an early 2004 example feels particularly fitting. The contrasting leather, polished wood veneers and original-style alloy wheels give it a lovely period appearance, very different from the darker colours so often seen.
Underneath that long bonnet sits Bentley's 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12, an engine that helped make the Continental GT so remarkable when it arrived. With four-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic gearbox, these could cover enormous distances with very little effort yet had performance that could embarrass plenty of dedicated sports cars.
Showing 79,034 miles, this example has 13 stamps in its service book, the latest dated 18th February 2026. There is also some accompanying paperwork, although we wouldn't describe the history as comprehensive. The GT presents reasonably well for its age, with the Saddle leather and wood trim giving the cabin that unmistakable early Continental atmosphere.
The vendor has also provided a short list of items worth mentioning, including an intermittent engine management light on startup and an occasional starting issue which may require a short wait before restarting. It starts on the key but not on the button. It could be a battery issue but again this is something worth looking in to.
The Bentley comes with two keys, its registration number included in the sale and an MOT running until 16th February 2027. For someone who appreciates the original Continental GT, the combination of Cypress Green, Saddle leather and that wonderful W12 makes this a particularly interesting early example.
