The BSA A50 Royal Star is a classic 500cc parallel-twin motorcycle built by Birmingham Small Arms Company (BSA) from 1962 to 1970. It featured a modern ‘unit construction’ engine and gearbox casing that reduced manufacturing costs and oil leaks.

Initially launched as the A50 Star in the UK, it was marketed as the Royal Star in export regions before adopting the unified BSA A50 Royal Star name globally by 1966. Sharing its robust frame with the larger BSA A65, the bike was known as a stable, over-engineered commuter rather than a high-performance racer.

This bike is certainly one not to be missed. With the odometer showing just 27 miles and a full restoration complete, this bike would sit very well in any collection.
