The 1999 Honda VFR800FI (popularly known as the Interceptor in North America) belongs to the revered 5th generation (RC46) of Honda's VFR line. Widely considered by motorcycle enthusiasts to be one of the greatest all-rounders ever built, this model sits in a ‘sweet spot’ of motorcycle history. It combines the iconic gear-driven camshafts with modern electronic fuel injection, right before Honda introduced the more complex VTEC valve systems in 2002.
