The Suzuki GSX-R750 SRAD (Suzuki Ram Air Direct) was produced between 1996 and 1999. It was a landmark superbike that featured a completely redesigned, ultra-compact engine and a twin-beam aluminium frame derived from Kevin Schwantz’s RGV500 GP racer. A new compact and lightweight engine incorporated magnesium covers on the cylinder head, starter motor, and clutch cover to aid weight reduction. These changes resulted in a decrease in weight by 20 kg to 179 kg, while power had increased to 128 hp. This year's model finally addressed the weight problems that had plagued the GSX-R through the first half of the 90s.

This bike has come from a local well-known vendor who has taken the bike in part exchange. The bike is in lovely condition throughout and the previous owner has gone to a lot of effort to put it as close as possible back to original factory specification with much of the work having been carried out by well-known racer and bike mechanic Jenny Tinmouth. It comes with a couple of boxes of aftermarket parts which have been removed, and some other bits and pieces. The bike starts and runs well, and passed an MOT with no advisories in June of this year. It comes complete with 2 keys, full UK V5, MOT and is clear on HPi.
