  • The Triumph Bonneville T120 TT Special was one of the most legendary, high-performance production racing motorcycles of the 1960s. Built between 1963 and 1967 exclusively for the American market, this 'off-the-showroom-floor' racer was stripped of all street-legal components to dominate TT Steeplechase, flat track, and desert racing
  • Dating from 1969, this T120 was originally exported to Ontario in Canadian-spec with the 2.5-gallon slimline tank, stainless mudguards, MPH speedometer, higher bars and low-slung, straight pipes running into chrome cigar-shaped megaphone silencers
  • Returned to the UK, correctly registered on 20/03/2007 and purchased by its present custodian on 16/07/2021, during whose five-year ownership it has covered just 620 miles
  • It now presents as an homage to the  '67 TT Special with straight pipes, fork-mounted tool roll, no rear footrests etc.
  • Benefiting from a Boyer Bransden electronic ignition system, a worthwhile upgrade enhancing reliability and more recently fitted with a single-phase Lucas regulator/rectifier, providing further reassurance for future enjoyment
  • Our vendor reports that the Triumph runs superbly and presents extremely well, making this an appealing example of one of Britain’s most celebrated sporting motorcycles
  • A charismatic and increasingly collectible classic twin, ideally suited to enthusiastic road use, classic motorcycle gatherings or a carefully curated collection
