This charming 1962 Vespa 125 VNB 3T is a particularly attractive example, finished in a beautifully understated Silver Grey with contrasting black saddle and cream detailing. Its classic lines, whitewall-style tyres, polished brightwork and period Piaggio badging give it all the character associated with these much-loved Italian scooters.

The Vespa was restored in the UK in 2005, with the work reportedly carried out using original parts wherever possible. Importantly, it retains its original, standard engine and traditional six-volt points ignition system, preserving the straightforward mechanical character of the model.

Attention to period detail is evident throughout, including the original-style Siem front and rear lighting equipment, which the vendor confirms is fully operational. The scooter also retains its centrally mounted spare wheel, traditional floor runners, chrome trim and attractive two-person saddle.

The Silver Grey paintwork has a pleasing finish, complemented by smart chrome fittings, clean wheel rims and well-presented rubber components. The saddle also appears particularly tidy, with contrasting piping and a period-style Aquila Continentale badge.
