Estimated Price: £3,000 - £5,000
- The Triumph Tiger 100 (or T100) is one of the great British motorcycles of the 1950s, combining elegant styling, a lively 500cc twin-cylinder engine and genuine sporting ability. It was designed for riders who wanted something more exciting than an ordinary commuter bike, without moving up to a larger, heavier machine
- The Tiger 100 had roots in the late 1930s, but the post-war models of the 1950s became particularly well regarded for their performance, character and racing heritage
- This bike was originally exported to South Africa, returned here in 2001 and registered in 2002
- Restored some 6,000 miles ago prior to coming to the UK - powder coated frame, paintwork, a refurbished dynamo and magneto. In addition, the bottom end had work, including the crank being balanced. Since coming to the UK it's had a refurbished cylinder head, with new pistons and liners and is a lovely easy starting bike
- Supplied with a current V5C and a good history file with lots of receipts for the work, a VMCC dating certificate, old tax discs and MOTs
- The bike has been well looked after by her retired engineer owner, a keen Triumph enthusiast, who is only selling as he is starting to reduce his large collection of Triumphs
- A great opportunity to purchase a smart example of Triumph's middleweight, that is running well and ready to be enjoyed
