The Ducati Sport Classics are a range of retro styled motorcycles introduced by Ducati at the 2003 Tokyo Motor Show and put on sale in 2005 for the 2006 model year. The Sport 1000 took its inspiration from the 1973 Ducati 750 Sport and related 750 Imola Desmo and had the look of a classic lightweight single-seat cafe racer. It used a two valve 1000DS motor in a trellis tube frame. The suspension used three-way adjustable single Sachs rear shocks, and non-adjustable 43 mm Marzocchi front forks and wire spoke large section alloy rims.

This bike has come from a very well-known local trader and is in very good condition. The bike has some nice upgrades to include Termignoni exhaust, adjustable levers, open anodised clutch cover, various anodised covers and a steering damper. It comes complete with the original owner’s handbook, service book with two services including a belt change in 2024, two keys and an MOT until August 2027.
