Introduced in 1989 it was ‘the’ on/off road trail bike of its era, more agile off road and more fun on road than the competition – bags of power from the 900 or 750 cc Ducati air cooled V-Twin – it even managed two Dakar Rally wins !
This fine example registered 1999 is one of the last carburettor models produced and has had 4 previous owners. Last serviced ( inc. belts ) in Sept. 2025 it has covered 22,400 kms and has an MoT until 23/09/26. In generally good condition the fuel tank does have some small micro blisters which is not uncommon on these bikes as the tanks are made from HDPE Polyethylene plastic, but the integrity of the tank is good.
In good running order it has just had a new clutch fitted and comes with a small history file of maintenance bills and old MoT’s. These great bikes are beginning to get hard to find, this is a nice clean well looked after example in the desirable ‘Luck Strike’ livery.
