1950 Vincent Rapide
£34,995.00 | €40,356.34 | $47,136.20

Vincent factory records show this Series ‘C’ Rapide was built 23rd Nov.1949 during the period when both Series B and C models were being built at the Stevenage factory, however it wasn’t dispatched to Surtees, London until 15th June 1950.

Sold by us in 2022 and again in 2025 we are delighted to be offering this fine example once again.

A buff logbook, old V5s and the current V5C now indicate 10 owners in total, with the bike being restored and the engine rebuilt in 2002 by a long time member of the Vincent Owners Club, a hand written diary of this work is also with the bike.

Retaining it’s original registration this fully matching number Rapide remains in very good overall condition, it is supplied a factory build sheet, VOC dating certificate old MoT’s and an original riders handbook and service manual.

Having been continually maintained it has also been fitted with new stainless rims / spokes, new tyres and the front brake drums skimmed. The fuel tank has also been repainted and the bike has a large ‘chronometric’ type speedo. In addition to this it now has a new set of the correct Amal Mono Bloc carbs.

This is a very fine example with a great history file that remains in good running order, continually maintained and well cared for.
